5Gla - Irrigation in Agriculture
An innovative project for more effective irrigation of agricultural areas using 5G technology, in which we participated as a technical partner. The project included the establishment of 5G infrastructure, the development of soil and aerial sensors, field trials, and the development of an AI-based data platform. The goal was to create an optimized irrigation concept for resource-efficient, site-specific irrigation of agricultural crops.
Dirrigent - powered by AquaBRain
A user-friendly app for sustainable irrigation and evidence-based crop planning based on real-time data. Dirrigent is an open-source platform for farmers and water associations, providing an efficient, digital, and sustainable water management solution. The system enables easy recording of water meter readings, real-time calculation of contingents, and provides irrigation recommendations. Dirrigent is a follow-up project to 5Gla in the Uelzen district.
